Project:
FUTURE FAB
Overview:
Future Fab is an adolescent lifestyle brand focused in five regions across Kenya that offers a new way to talk to local teens, their communities, and their health care providers about the value of contraception.
roles:
I was tasked to build a brand that presents family planning to teens using fashion, music and style to provide an effective bridge between informative material and pop culture. We visited teens in Nairobi, hosted fashion show and created swag. We put the images I gathered to use, promoting the project via posters and other printed materials.
Project:
Kuja Kuja
Overview:
At a basic level, Kuja Kuja is a platform for tracking customer satisfaction among refugees, and aggregating suggestions on how to improve. It has the potential to fundamentally shift the way humanitarian organizations are serving refugees.
Kuja Kuja translates to: Come, Come
roles:
I was tased with adapting branding and logo creation to keep look and feel of signage that was already in place in the region. The logo and color scheme needed to pop with color, but still feel grass roots. Initially the idea of the project revolved around an analog method of informing the citizens, via flyers, billboards and gorilla style methods.. On version 2.0 the team has shifted to a digital platform. I am proud of this initial work as it paved the way for where the project currently stands.
